Quotes by Mother Teresa

A reporter asked Mother Teresa, "When a baby dies alone in Calcutta alley, where is God? Her response? "God is there, suffering with that baby. The question really is where are you?

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls. Mother Teresa

If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. Mother Teresa

If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one. Mother Teresa

If you want a love message to be heard, it has got to be sent out. To keep a lamp burning, we have to keep putting oil in it. Mother Teresa

Intense love does not measure, it just gives. Mother Teresa

Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do... but how much love we put in that action.
Mother Teresa

Love begins by taking care of the closest ones - the ones at home.

One of the things that I admire about Mother Teresa is that she was a walking representation of Christ on earth. Her love showed. She lived her faith. Her quotes are timless because they are born from a heart of love.
I can't say that I agree with all of the teaching of the Catholic church, but that's ok. We can peacefully agreee to disagree on things. There will always be disagreements in every religion. But there will always be one thing we share, and that is Jesus...
I can say that I admire anyone who can humbly represent Jesus. I admire Mother Teresa.

I want to thank my Catholic friends for the way they represent Him.
Jen, in your unwavering commitment and faithfulness even despite the storms of life.
The Mitchells, in your dedication to your family and grandchildren and the things you do for needy and the prisoners
Robby, in your unfailing desire tht the love of Christ be known.
I think one of my greatest experiences in the Catholic Church was on an Easter Service. We each walked up to the front to kiss the cross. What a beautiful life we would live in, if we would all daily learn to kiss the cross.
