Pagan Christianity Revisited - Video Blog

Several years ago, I read the book, Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola and George Barna. The book proposes that much of what we are doing in church isn't even in the Bible. I'm going to be honest, this book changed the way I think. It is considered both "controversial" and "revolutionary."

Here is a blurb from the book: "Are we doing Church by the book?" Why do church services seem so similar week after week? Why does the congregation passively sit in pews? Not sure? This book makes an interesting proposal: Most of what present day Christians do in church each Sunday is rooted, not in the New Testament, but in pagan culture and rituals developed long after the death of the apostles. Authors Frank Viola and George Barna support their thesis with compelling historical evidence and extensive footnotes that document the origins of our modern Christian church practices.

here is a video that I made about the book a few years ago.
Hopefully, people will be able to talk about this subject peacefully and respectfully.
