I was inspired after reading about the 9/11 cross. I've heard stories of churches that burnt to the ground, and yet thier crosses were still standing.
Today, I came across a story on the web. THe above photos, I think, were taken by a news organization during a time when southern California was facing raging wildfires.
According to firefighters, the cross should have been burnt up in the fire. But after inspection, they found that the cross had not even been singed in the heat.
I just thought this was interesting.
